What are your castings made of?
The vast majority of our castings are produced from high-grade, solid metal. Certain other items
are cast in either solid jewelers bronze or sterling silver. All of these metals meet or exceed
the established standards set by the FTC, respective to alloy content. In all cases, our medallic
products are individually handcast by highly talented personnel.
What are some of the other "Looks" on your products?
On a number of castings, we plate metal in a variety of finishes and colors. Those finishes may
be antique brass, brite brass, antique copper, brite nickel, silver antique or 24k gold antique.
Colors are hand-applied onto specified castings using liquid enamel(which hardens) or vivatone,
which is a topical colorant used on raised relief.
Do you manufacture the products that you sell?
Bergamot is principally a manufacturing foundry, therefore, we specialize in cast metal products.
We are proud to say that all castings are produced here in the U.S.A. at our plant in Delavan, WI.
Our company imports a limited number of items which are coupled with our decorative castings.
These include a few styles of European steins, select hardwood frames from the Far East and certain
pens imported in a completed form.
Are your trademarked products officially licensed?
Indeed. These include over 60 colleges and universities; Chevrolet, Cadillac, GMC, Dodge, Jeep and Army of One.
What are your minimum order requirements?
Minimum initial orders are $150 in any product mix. Reorders are $50 minimum.
What are your standard payment terms?
Upon receipt of your standard credit information, we offer net 30 terms. Payments can be made
by check, Visa or MasterCard.
What about Shipping?
F.O.B. Delavan, WI
Products in inventory: 1 week.
Items not in-stock: 2-4 weeks
Shipping charges are extra and are not included in unit costs.
Do you have different product divisions within your company?
The "Bergamot" line has been developed to supply thousands of diverse stock products to
quality retailers the world over. There are 2 other divisions with the company.
Meridian Metal Works: The premier source for custom cast products, appealing
primarily to corporations and organizations. Most custom products are used for sales
promotion, award recognition, event commemoratives and corporate gifts. Meridian is sold
exclusively through Promotional Product Distributors.
